New Office Locations

We are proud to announce that as of December 1, 2009, BooSnap Computer Services has two satellite offices for dispatching On-site technicians to the greater Raleigh area.  Our Leesville location will offer a faster response time to our customers in North Raleigh, the Brier Creek area as well as north of I-540.  Our New Bern Ave location will allow us to better serve our customers Inside the Beltline as well as eastern parts of Raleigh and Wake County.  We would like to welcome new customers in these areas who may not be familiar with our superior customer service and welcome you to call upon us for your computer repair needs and find out why we are the best in the business.  At this time we do not offer drop off service at these locations, however we may be expanding our drop off service into these areas soon.  For Computer Drop off, please visit us in our Cary location. 

 
To Defrag or Not to Defrag?

In your experience of owning a computer, you have undoubtedly had someone recommend that defragging your hard drive will make it run faster.  This is mostly true, but there are some underlying concepts that you should know.

 
Is my computer supposed to be this loud?

If you have to ask yourself if your computer is too loud or if it should be making that noise, I would go ahead and say, no, it shoud not be.  Computers these days are fairly quiet and if they're making a lot of noise, it's not a good sign.
